About our courses

Each course has 3 components: 

1. Spoken (Egyptian Arabic dialect)

2. Written (based on grade/age)

3. Prayer (Coptic Church Arabic prayers)

Course also includes common phrases and Egyptian and Coptic Church facts and history.

Our classes are 1 hour a week, over Zoom for 15 weeks. All times are posted in EST (New York/Toronto time zone) and prices listed are in USD.​​​​​

Choosing the right class for you

 

Level 1, New students

For complete beginners, we introduce the alphabet, colors, numbers and common words.

 

Level 2

For students who know the alphabet and numbers but cannot yet read and write. This semester's main focus is to strengthen their reading skills. We also learn to ask questions, express feelings and grow their Arabic vocabulary. 

 

Level 3

For students who can do basic reading and need help strengthening their Arabic language skills, we focus more on forming sentences and also practice writing each week.

 

Level 4

For students who have been with Christian Arabic school for more than 3 years. We are now focused on conversational, sentence forming, translating clips and songs and improving pronunciation.

Level 5

For students who are graduating this spring and have completed the level 4 class.
